Dr. Christopher Kozura, ND has over 12 years experience in private practice here in Seattle (previously called The Vitality Center, PLLC) and over 17 years experience overall in health care.
"I have had the vision of being a doctor in my mind since I was a boy in a small town in upstate New York. I would try to EAT WELL and EXERCISE to help become strong and fit. Going through high school I wondered why I did not have certain problems like acne unlike my friends. Later I learned that it was probably because the majority of the foods my parents made came from our garden. More importantly, we ate less processed food as a result. I have gradually learned that whole natural foods help our bodies do their own healing via the process of detoxification and elimination and by bringing wonderful nutrients into our bodies. I have realized that I can help patients take steps back to natural health through simple choices like foods. A majority of my patients, athletes and nonathletes alike, come to me for help with their musculoskeletal problems. My treatment style for musculoskeletal problems generally includes manual medicine, such as neuromuscular re-education, focused myofascial work, other physical therapy techniques and injection therapies such as neural therapy, prolotherapy and biopuncture. I am also passionate about naturopathic medical interventions such as dietary evaluation and counseling, nutraceutical medicine and botanical medicine. There are millions of wonderful processes going on in your body that allow you to live your incredible life everyday. Let's work together to have your body be in your most optimal health. This is my passion and this is what you can count on me for regarding your health."
